Ladies and gentlemen, now introducing the Plastics Corp’s (FPC) sixth naphtha cracker complex for you. Mailiao complex is about 8 kilometers from north to south and about 4 kilometers from east to west. Total area is 2,603 hectares and investments amount to NT $ 574.4 billion.
There are many many giant equipments in the Mailiao complex. For instance, the process equipment with a height of more than 90 meters and a total weight of about 1,500 metric tons or 38 oil tanks with a capacity of 130,000 KL which with a diameter of 86 meters and a height of 22 meters.
